Gluten-Free, Egg-Free, Dairy-Free and Refined-Sugar Free

Makes: 2-3 servings

This has been my favorite salad for awhile. I make it at least 1-2x per week, usually with a side of Baked Japanese Sweet Potato Fries. It's the most satisfying combo.


  • 1 large head of organic romaine lettuce

  • 3 cloves of smashed organic garlic

  • 1/4 cup of organic olive oil

  • 1/4 cup spring water

  • 2 tbsp raw pumpkin seeds

  • 1 oz of drained anchovies

  • juice of one organic lemon

  • 1 handful of fresh organic parsley leaves (don't skip the parsley!)

  • 1 tbsp of coconut aminos

  • 2 tbsp of dijon mustard

  • celtic sea salt (a couple pinches)

  • black pepper to taste

  • 2 teaspoons of non-gmo nutritional yeast*

*If you are healing from chronic illness, nutritional yeast can be harmful because most are genetically modified so opt for a non-gmo brand (I avoid bragg’s brand at all cost or avoid using it altogether). Listen more here.


Simply blend all the above ingredients in a blender or food processor and pour over freshly chopped romaine lettuce and mix together.
